I grew up in New York City.  In a time and neighborhood when being a Latino was not so welcome.  My father, was no where to be found and so I ended up making a lot of decisions on my own.  Hanging with the wrong people, feeling alone and desperate.    You can imagine the rest of the story.

Today I am a proud father and looking towards a great retirement.  The road was long and full of moments I could have really used some good fatherly advice – but I never got.
